Overtime tells a story. It balances the nerves of sending a risky, sexy text with the gratification of being in awe of a romantic partner. It is a story of collaboration, communication, and reciprocity.

I play around artistically with layers, empty spaces, and repeating phrases that mimic the rhythmic and pleasant unpredictability of a charged romp in the sheets. Perhaps everything but the moment fades and you surprise yourself with your ability and creativity. Well, anything is possible with the right muse.

"Call me when you get off" is double entendre. Bae is a working woman, so I let her know my ideas for...stress relief. The chorus flashes between the 'Call me when you get off [work]' text and the demand in the bedroom later that she call out my name when she...'gets off'.
